A Tampa, Florida-based social worker with diverse experience spanning more than three decades, Reinaldo Gibbs last served as director of social services at the Amboy Care Center in New Jersey. He spent nearly three years in this role and was tasked with conducting social services assessments as well as directing relevant programming. He also contributed to policy development and supervised other social workers. Reinaldo Gibbs previously worked as a local office manager with the New Jersey Department of Children and Families. Before this, Mr. Gibbs spent more than two decades with the New York Administration for Children's Services in manager and supervisor capacities. A former member of the National Association of Social Workers, he has served on various task forces combating domestic violence and sex abuse. Moreover, he is a former co-chair of the Child Abuse Prevention Sub-Committee of the Brooklyn Brownsville/East New York Neighborhood Network Based Initiative. Complementing his experience, Reinaldo Gibbs holds a master of social work from Hunter College in New York City and a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Panama. Active in local ministry, Mr. Gibbs has earned awards for his dedication to the Middlesex County College Community Gospel Choir and the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists.
