Rodrigo Salas was born in Lima, Peru, in 1998. From a young age, he was fascinated with how things worked - mainly industrial processes. He would imagine the inner workings of gears and pulleys and how all the machines around him operated. This early interest led him to study hard in school, eventually allowing him to attend San Pedro School and Universidad de Lima - two of the best colleges in his area. Rodrigo loved the college environment and found it a stimulating way to learn and experiment within his field. During his studies, Rodrigo earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
