▪️Vessel receiving on arrival. ▪️Documents preparation ie : For vessel receiving, customs booking,customs survey booking.MMD (psc inspection) other relevant vessel inward to outward clearance. ▪️Documents preparation ie: Bills of Lading, Manifests of Cargo, Statements of Fact and other relevant cargo documents. ▪️ Tracking cargo discharging and entering tracking data to import operations system. ▪️Other parties service. ▪️Professional interaction with stevedore on a daily basis via email and phone ▪️Booking customs and survey company for receiving for vessel visiting on arrival in Chittagong port. ▪️Review of Contact papers Between vessel owners and Charterers and IGM for accuracy ▪️Responding to urgent assignments. ▪️Reporting to Director. ⚫ Office Responsibilities. ▪️Planning and supervising all Operational activities. ▪️Seeking and maintenance of customers and business cooperatives. ▪️Correspondence with cooperating companies- in Bangladesh and abroad. ▪️Securing our partners interests in Bangladesh ▪️Implementation of International Ship and Port Facility Security Code rules. ▪️Anticipating issues which may have had impact on loading and/ or discharging operations. ▪️Close cooperation with marine, naval, immigration and customs authorities. ▪️Meeting with Harbor Master and all other authorities on regular basis to discuss and implement all necessary changes of port rules into agency activities, to ensure company’s name recognition and help with future cooperation of above mentioned authorities. ▪️Filing of weekly, monthly and annual financial and traffic reports with company CEO and owners ⚫Logistical and Port Duties ▪️Problem solving of all matters while vessels stay in the port. ▪️24/7 on call availability ▪️Immediate presence on board of the vessel in case of unforeseen problems occurrence. ▪️Ensuring cargo loading barge availability, seeking additional lighter barge if necessary. ▪️ Troubleshooting problems with cargo availability and arrivals of cargo. ▪️Planning and coordinating of cargo discharging and loading continer operations. ▪️Assisting and overseeing cargo quality control inspectors while loading operations in progress. ▪️Overseeing exceptionally sensitive/ cargo loading operations • ▪️Coordinating activities of all parties involved. ▪️Negotiating with ship services providers ▪️Purchasing equipment, parts and supplies as requested and on behalf of vessels Owners ▪️Overseeing spare parts processing and deliveries to the vessels docked in shipyards or outer anchorage ▪️Arranging for cargo and/or ships parts transportation from quay storage to final destinations by truck, air or railroad as required. ▪️Signing off and on crew members, arranging for Bangladesh transit visas and other necessary travel and legal documents. ⚫ Project Management ▪️Arranging for and managing of any special services tendered to the vessel/ ship ▪️Arranging for and managing ad hoc repairs and other such services while not disturbing loading/ discharging operations ▪️Arranging for and overseeing special loading/ discharging operations as required by vessel/ owners ▪️Arranging for and supervising work of special equipment on board of the vessel. ▪️Developing and managing project schedules and costs. ▪️ Overseeing project fieldwork ▪️Training vendors and partners to effectively execute fieldwork. ▪️ Communicating and developing relationships with vendors and partners.
