Samson T. Jacob was a dedicated professor at OSU, working for 20 years in various positions, including co-director of the Experimental Therapeutics Program and the first director of the Comprehensive Cancer Center's Intramural Research Program. As a Principal Investigator in a primary science department, his efforts resulted in the first significant program project grant. Furthermore, they increased the department's NIH ranking by nearly 20 points in three years.
