Roles and Responsibilities.
• Maintain the Service Now queue of an average of 5-20 tickets per day, resolved Level 1-2
support issues
• Maintain essential IT operations systems, including Operating Systems, servers (physical/virtual),
laptops/desktops, software, networks, and security.
• Provide onsite PC repair, virus- and spyware-remediation, maintenance/rejuvenation, data-
recovery, networking and upgrades.
• Knowledge of server and network communications equipment, protocols (i.e. DNS and TCPIP),
transmission media, security and network management practices
• Analyzed and diagnosed DNS/DHCP/VPN and other networking issues
• Installs, moves, adds, changes of hardware and software packages (IMAC);Hardware life cycle
management.
• Incident Management. Including recording, diagnosing, resolving & communicating details.
Using the central ticketing systems.
• Lead the IT element of business projects and solutions and represent Group IT delivering
solutions to European offices, when required.
• Continuously analyze current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of
improvement.
• Install and commission desktop, server and network systems and their routine upgrades.
• Provide outstanding day to day support of users both face-to-face and on remote sessions.
• Ownership and management of Active Directory Users and Computers and Exchange. Including
creating, maintaining, and deleting users and keeping allocated computers up to date.
• Participate in regular review meetings between service providers and users.
