I independently conceived and executed the design and development of a proof of concept in response to a Request for Proposal (RFP) from a new client. This was accomplished within a tight timeframe of two weeks, necessitating the handling of high-volume (2.5k/month) image processing within an automated marketing solution.
The Proof of Concept (POC) entailed the establishment of an image repository within Chili Publish, accessible through an API, and the automatic categorisation and identification of focal points, facilitated by AI through the utilisation of YOLO v8. Notably, this endeavor encompassed the creation and training of a bespoke AI model using Python, tailored to the unique image requirements of the client.
In response to a separate RFP for the same client, in five weeks I built a demonstrable POC of an automated digital marketing solution able to generate thousands of banner-style ads to specific design templates, via the upload of a CSV allowing for manual intervention for more complicated options and client to approve more where necessary.
I orchestrated a cross-functional five person team tasked with the development of a comprehensive solution that successfully met the requirements outlined in an RFP for a versatile digital marketing solution, primed for resale to a diverse clientele of mid-level enterprises. The solution, underpinned by the robust frameworks of OpenProject and Chili Publish, was meticulously implemented through a Next.js architecture seamlessly integrated with Material-UI frontend components. The initial response to the RFP took eight weeks, the product gained traction within the business and the project expanded to be upsold to existing customers.
Led an agile team of three within a multinational Adobe Commerce (Magento) project, offering a rich personalised shopping experience to end users that integrated with the retailer's existing ERP, stock warehousing, courier, and order tracking systems. I was responsible for the delivery of over 15 multilingual e-commerce websites. Additionally, I provided expert support to fulfill clients' Magento Business Intelligence (BI) requirements
I was brought in to save a Bloomreach implementation for a national retailer from potential failure, by communicating with the customers PM and Head of Technology to figure out where the issues were occurring, leveraging BRXM functionality, tailoring third-party integrations, and reinvigorating the team to exceed the requirements and complete the project with commendation from the client.

As Software Architect, I assumed the lead technical role in an organisation-wide successful response to a $2m+ RFP aimed at creating a proprietary application for a global market-leading imaging service. Collaborating closely with the Technical Director and a team of specialist leads, our mission was to replace the existing application, driven by issues of stability, complexity, and scalability.
