Tom Barrett KU
A graduate of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio, Tom Barrett is a senior at the University of Kansas (KU) with an expected graduation date of May 2021. In high school, he led the St. Ignatius Wildcats football team to a 13-2 record and a runner-up finish in the Ohio high school playoffs. Tom Barrett is working toward a bachelor of science in business, management, and leadership, with a minor in business analytics. He is also an active member of the KU Finance Club and the Young Presidents Organization Next Generation.
A football player and member of the Big 12 Conference, Mr. Barrett was recognized as “most competitive” player by Coach Les Miles in spring 2019. To gain experience in the business world, Mr. Barrett has completed several internships in the community. Most recently a sales intern with Park Place Technologies, he generated sales leads for account managers, sending more than 20 daily emails and 200 daily phone calls. He also interned in business development with 7Signal and River SaaS Capital.
