Based in Chicago, Illinois, Varrick Douglas has led a successful law enforcement and security professional career. Over the past 30 years, he has acquired extensive experience in the police force. Varrick Douglas served as commander at the Chicago Police Department for four years. During his tenure with the Chicago Police, he oversaw daily operations, analyzed crime data, and assessed initiatives to combat public violence. He also liaised with the Bureau of Organized Crime to investigate gang- and narcotics-related cases. Previously, Varrick Douglas worked with task forces from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Drug Enforcement Administration. His role entailed supervising drug conspiracy missions and conducting surveillance and interviews to collect information related to narcotic and weapon investigations. Varrick Douglas attended Calumet College of St. Joseph, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in law enforcement management and a master’s degree in public safety administration. He later obtained a PhD in business administration from Argosy University.
