Walter Helwich, born in New York City, is a designer, programmer, and developer in the information technology industry. He attended University of California where he studied at the Department of Computer Science and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. After graduating from University of California, Walter went to study advanced software technologies at the Computing Faculty in Columbia. Outside of his Columbia studies, Walter Helwich began to explore computers more thoroughly, and was especially interested in how they were programmed. While still at university, he got a job working at of America's leading IT companies, Way Consulting Senior, originally as team leader for various software development projects (Casino Platform project and Lottery outsource project), and then was shifted to the position of top management, as a technical director. He worked there for several years helping develop, alongside other scientists, more advanced computer systems and software. He he also dedicated much of his career work on developing operating systems for portable computers and mobile platforms.
