Created an integrated stock and asset database for the Eskom Generation Division (the largest Electricity utility in the Southern Hemisphere) which resulted in initial savings of approximately $5m per annum for the first 3 years after implementation. Implemented a rolling capital replacement strategy for the Distribution fleet of 1 ,400 vehicles to incorporate age and usage data ensuring all parties were involved including suppliers to save $3m per annum as well as reduce the staff by 4. At Mariner created an acquisition strategy of treating each new fund as a project that had to be costed and measured to ensure there was positive ROI to the group. This resulted in ongoing savings for the entity as surplus staff could be redeployed. • Implementation of vehicle replenishment program at Eskom for Distribution fleet including the procurement process (1 ,400 vehicles) . The ongoing savings annually was circa $3m. • Part of SAP implementation team at ESKOM ensuring the integration of all divisions and meeting the group criteria. Dashboard implementation for FP&A. • Initiated a project to centralise the stock and asset database within Eskom Generation and the modelling of the different processes. Ongoing savings for the group was circa $25m. • Simplifying process for AFSL client doing short term home lending. Ensuring compliance with responsible lending provisions. This generated additional income to the entity of $1.2m per annum.
