Yan Garcia attended the University of New Haven for about a year before transferring to the State University of New York, Oneonta, where he expressed an early interest in business and eventually decided to major in business economics. While at the school, he achieved awards and commendations, including a SUNY Oneonta Academic Achievement Award. He graduated with a bachelor of science degree in business economics in 2009. Yan Garcia co-founded Playmaker Media, a digital marketing agency in Hillburn, New York, in 2017. At the company, he managed a team of professionals and ensured his team correctly executed the digital strategies they designed for their clients. He also successfully led the agency's digital marketing efforts on behalf of its clients, achieving almost $1 million in e-commerce sales for LifeVac, Playmaker's biggest client. Away from his professional life, Yan Garcia enjoys reading self-help books like 'Rich Dad Poor Dad,' spending time with his family, and studying real estate investment.
