Yotvat Kariti is a professional photographer who specializes in street, documentary, and portrait photography. She is based in New York City. In 2006, Yotvat started her photography business, which is split between running a print business, a portrait photography business working with companies and people around New York. Additionally, she is certified for running photography tours and street photography workshops. Yotvat holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography from the International Center of Photography (ICP) and a Master’s degree in Photography from the School of Visual Arts. She spent a few years after graduation assisting for commercial photographers until she decided to start her own photography business. At the very beginning, photography was only a hobby for her. However, over the course of the years, she started to learn more about the unique neighborhoods and incredible architecture of New York. Also, Yotvat has become an expert in the history of New York. Yotvat’s primary passion is documenting the personalities and stories of the city. Her inspiration has always come from the people and the history of New York. Furthermore, Yotvat Kariti has published a photo guide to New York City and a book called Street Photography for Beginners.
