DR JOAN GRACE VALINA, COSMETIC SURGEON Meet Dr. Valina, MD Dr. Valina is highly skilled and sought out as a general and cosmetic surgeon. She completed her General Surgery residency at Michigan State University (PGY-1 to PGY-2) and Loyola University Medical Center (PGY-3 to PGY-5). She worked for underserved communities for years doing general surgery and trauma surgery. She volunteered in developing countries, performing numerous general surgeries. She completed a Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowship at Allegheny Health Network and Cosmetic Surgery fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. She underwent additional training with multiple well-known cosmetic, oculoplastic, and plastic surgeons from Seattle, Tampa, and Sarasota, including the Philippines and Russia.
