Since its introduction to the Olympic program in 2000, this sport has become popular worldwide. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced athlete, there is always something new to learn about this exciting sport. To be successful, you need to have a good understanding of what race entails and how it is done.


There are many different distances, each designed for a specific fitness level. Some races, such as the sprint distance, are suitable for beginners, while professional athletes can do others - such as the Ironman.


When you begin to train for a triathlon, you must focus on all three components of the sport. You want to be strong in all three, but you also need to improve your speed and stamina to finish the race in the fastest possible time.
