Executive committee member of Team Anant, which is building an actual nano-satellite in collaboration with ISRO I was head of the Payload subsystem in the team. Our main focus was to extract the chlorophyll content in the ocean through computer vision techniques.
Achieved feature extraction by implementing algorithms like PCA, affine and endmember extraction on a hyperspectral 3D image
Classified the image into several classes by implementing various approaches such as k-nearest neighbors, abundance matrices and SVM

Worked at IUCAA, PUNE under Professor Kandaswamy Subramanium to simulate the structure of winds near stars and ultimately model it's distribution under arbitrary energy and momentum deposition. Majority of the simulations were done in MATLAB.
