A health-tech entrepreneur has been working as an operations manager and business developer since early 2020. Founder of a high-potential startup in the Teledermatology industry. I also study Mechatronics Engineering at one of the top tech universities in Egypt (E-JUST, The Egyptian-Japanese University). Practical engineering experience gained during two commercial projects at DignoTech, Arab Contractors, and training at E-JUST MEMS Fabrication Lab, mainly working in teams of mechatronics, biomedical, mechanical, and software engineers and taking the responsibility for delivering the products and services as planned, making a solid managerial & operations foundation. These experiences set a solid foundation to get a taste of real engineering and develop into a fully-fledged engineer & business leader.

I have been chosen among fifty trainees from hundreds of applicants for the government-funded scholarship to do the entrepreneurship program for six months with Knowledge Officer to be graduated as a knowledgeable and execution-focused founder in my professional edge, the health-tech industry.

DignoTech offers a high-quality online diagnosis service for Dermal Care Patients & Doctors, an all-in-one platform from the comfort of their homes.
I've started DIGNO since early 2020 with only one Co-Founder. I worked with him on our first Tele-Dentistry Model, which was discovered to have a small market and low potential.
Then we tested the market until we found our way in the Dermal & Beauty Care industry - So, now we are funded & incubated at EBNI Incubator by [EiTESAL NGO], with 8 members working as DIGNO Team.
September 2020 - December 2020
During this period, I worked with a multi-disciplinary team of software and biomedical engineers as well as business developers and managers to validate their brand-new teledentistry system called "DIGNODent".
I was responsible for the fast prototyping and manufacturing activities such as the below:
- PCB design and manufacturing using EAGLE.
- Embedded system from concept to product; for the software-hardware integrated system.
- Supporting 3D design and printing.
- Product logistics and technical operations activities.
- Technical documentation and reporting to stakeholders.

The center aims to create a scientific base with state-of-the-art facilities upon which a group of specialists in the field of Microfabrication to be a starting point for carrying out advanced research to achieve the plans for comprehensive development.
I have experienced the Microfabrication process and worked with related devices, machines, and equipment such as:
- Laser machine.
- Telescopes.
- Thin-film deposition.
And many more related to the MEMS Fabrication Labs for both commercial and academic scale.

Stanford Rebuild is a global 8-week innovation sprint to develop solutions for the wide range of challenges and opportunities we will face as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
During this 8-week sprint, I have been working simultaneously with the Stanford University entrepreneurial faculty and the step-by-step guidance from the Embark toolkit that will provide support and encourage us to accelerate our path to a better post-COVID-19 world.

During this period I, working in a team of mechanical, electrical, hardware, mechatronics, and biomedical engineers as well as business developers and managers. I have worked mainly on the project management activities, to achieve the company goal as below:
- Contributing with the governmental and private sectors to fight COVID-19.
- Provide better healthcare access for all people.
- Achieve a good reputation and media coverage.
- Test the health-tech market in Egypt & MENA Region.
Which have been accomplished successfully, thanks to a clear vision and hardwork as well as our commitment:
- The company has provided a smart infection control system which has been presented to the president of Egypt - Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and the minister of health Dr. Hala Zayed. That has been appreciated and gave a big media coverage.
