A veteran trucking and transport executive in New Jersey, Anthony Berritto has accrued nearly four decades of experience in his field. Since 1983, Anthony Berritto has worked at SalSon Logistics, a company headquartered in Port Newark, which provides transload services, dedicated contract carriage, warehousing, and delivery for retail and food-and-beverage businesses.
In his role as president and chief executive officer of SalSon, Mr. Berritto oversees the management of more than a million square feet of warehouse space as well as an equipment fleet that includes 550 trucks and 1,500 trailers. He also oversees more than 1,200 employees. Since joining the company, he has helped grow its revenues to more than $100 million annually.
Outside of his responsibilities with SalSon Logistics, Anthony Berritto stays active through a combination of activities such as weightlifting, participating in marathons, and racing cars. He also takes an active interest in developing his public speaking skills.
