My clinical practice provides psychotherapy to school aged children 6
years old and older, adolescents, parents/caregivers, families and young adults 18 to of age. As one of the 1st Nationally certified Trauma -
Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapists registered in Pennsylvania, the core of my practice is focused on treating children and adolescents living with post traumatic and acute stress, panic Disorder, and trauma/anxiety driven symptoms with my areas of specialty being sexual abuse, and complex trauma poly victimization . However, my practice is not exclusive to treating traumatic stress and acute anxiety/post impact, as I also work with adolescents presenting with self-injurious behaviors specializing in self harm by means of cutting, depression/mood disorders, generalized anxiety Disorder including phobias, obsessive compulsive Disorder, and adolescents who present with diagnoses co-occurring/comorbid with PTSD and Acute Stress Disorder I also work with teens and young adults who present with symptoms categorically related to Borderline Personality Disorder and Narcissistic Personality

clinical workshops/presentations to social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, attorneys, child advocates and educational professionals on topics including behavioral management, crisis intervention, anxiety reduction, trauma informed care, post traumatic stress, complex trauma, panic Disorder, self-injury/self-harm, trauma informed individual and family therapy interventions, and the roles of professionals involved in multi-disciplinary teams associated with youth trauma/victimization.

mental health information/education sessions are specifically geared toward providing education to parents/caregivers about Trauma-Focused Cognitive
Behavior Therapy and the efficacy behind this clinical treatment modality as an evidenced-based clinical method of treatment for children and adolescents who have experienced an identified trauma.

In addition, the education sessions serve to grant insight to parents/caregivers pertaining to the bio-psycho-social symptoms that can emerge as a result of sexual abuse/trauma, as well as on the importance of further exploring and/or obtaining trauma focused treatment for children/adolescents who have experienced confirmed or alleged sexual abuse.
