- Processing / Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bash 

- Physical computing, digital and analog circuits including the Arduino and other micro controllers 

- Android and iOS development 

- SQL, MYSQL and SQLite databases 

- Applications including: Adobe suite, Vectorworks, Rhino, Blender, Office, Vim

Experience

Senior Developer of Interactive Exhibits, American Museum of Natural History, March 2015 - Present

In addition to my role outlined as Developer below, I have been involved in managing the creative technology for more projects within the museum including prototyping and R&D of new interfaces including virtual and augmented reality. I've now created interactive works in 7 exhibits which have opened at our museum and have subsequently traveled to museums all over the world. 

Adjunct Professor of Computer Science, New York University, January 2016 - Present

I teach an introductory course in computer Science course at NYU which covers objected-oriented programing in Java. I also cover Processing as a toolkit for more expressive programs, which is for most students their very first introduction to creative coding.

Developer of Interactive Exhibits, American Museum of Natural History, June 2014 - March 2015

As a member of the Media and Interactives group within the Exhibition department, I work on creating interactive experiences from conception all the way through to production. As the only developer on the team, I either write the code myself or, depending on the project, I hire and manage freelancers to assist in development.

Interactive Media Developer Intern and Freelancer, American Museum of Natural History, New York, NY, Summer 2013, January 2014 – April 2014

 As an intern, I participated in brainstorming and prototyping of various interactive exhibits, including an interactive book in the current show The Power of Poison. As a freelancer, I developed two interactives for the show Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs involving kinect and leap motion sensors.

-Master's Program: Interactive Telecommunications Program, Tisch School of the Arts 
 While is my program, I pursued Exhibit and Experiential Design. I worked with Processing, openFrameworks and physical computing to create impactful experiences.

 -Safe Crackers! in the 2012 Winter Show, a physical interactive game

-Created a catalog management system of thousands of Verizon Apps in Python with MySQL backend. User interaction was created using Django and HTML front-end development 
-Working with designers from an outside agency, drove design decisions of digital and physical presence at the Application Innovation Center in San Francisco in addition to working as technical lead for design and development of large, interactive display deployed in Verizon retail stores
