Solomont founded Common Angels in in 1998. The company had its headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. He was its Chairman and CEO until 2004. This company was one of the first USA institutionalized angel groups.
In May 2015, he founded ev Transportation Services, Inc ("evTS") and he serves as its Chairman and CEO since inception.
Moreover, Solomont is the Chairman of OYO Toys, since November 2018.
David Solomont has studied at the Tufts University, where he graduated in 1974 and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. In 1979, he enrolled at the MIT’s Sloan School, where he received his master’s degree in management.
