Hello, my name is David Chou. I graduated from Chung Yuan University, majoring in Information & Computer Engineering.
I am a responsible and conscientious person and willing to do anything to meet the manager’s job requirements.
In addition, I am not afraid of any challenge I meet. I will take it seriously and try hard to solve the problem I encounter.
And I am very eager to learn new knowledge. If I met some difficulties and challenges during my work, I would find online resources to solve the problem I encountered and discuss the issue with my colleagues.
I love teamwork because we can always come up with some excellent solutions and ideas, and we can also cover each other’s workload, making it more efficient to get the job done.
My current job is Windows Platform Validation Engineer. My responsibilities are to maintain the weekly release BIOS responsiveness test and help FW Bios Engineer to narrow down the problem, making them much easier to debug the issue.
In addition, I use python to develop some helpful validation tools to simplify the validation process and help my colleagues to enhance their work efficiency so that they can have more time to deal with other assigned work.
Furthermore, I cooperate with FW Bios Engineer to develop the platform automation testing, discussing test plans and test cases with them. Afterward, I will use python to develop automation testing scripts with the features we discussed. We deploy our automation testing on Daily build Bios to let engineers discover the issue and bugs at a very early stage so that they can fix the problem immediately.
Now we have completed automation testing on RPL platforms.
In the future, we will keep setting up automation testing on other future Intel platforms.
