Oracle Corporation, Software Developer, May 2019 ~ Present
I work on the business analytics organization , my current role is as an iOS developer.
The apps I am involved in, are related to processing, analyzing and presenting large amounts of data coming from the Oracle Analytics Cloud.
I participated since the designing of the architecture of the app, providing it with a complete support to be highly scalable and to be mobile device friendly in terms of memory and resource processing.
I am also working on the design and development of a system that uses ML algorithms to train models that make predictions over large datasets. This system is Dockerized for easy deployment and scalability. The main language is Python and I used the Django framework to make it API accessible.

I participated as a lead developer of the iOS team. The app we developed here is called Livenia, available on the AppStore. It is a social network in which people can broadcast live events and watch them for free or PPV, share content with other users, and interact with all content. I created a tool that allows streamers to broadcast their live videos to many platforms and locations at the same time.
I also participated in back end using PHP and MySQL.
I was in charge of all the streaming and playback functionality using the HLS protocol and Wowza as the streaming server. I learnt a lot about data streaming, and improved my abilities to build user interfaces with the Cocoa Touch framework and the Swift programming language.

During my stay in the university I created several projects related to my study and also was involved in some freelancer jobs, which gave me the ability to explore a lot of different technologies.
In my senior year I started working in a real company, so I gained relevant work experience, learned about time management, priority handling and had the opportunity to experience how the industry moves before getting out of school.
