Maryann Huhs

Based in Sammamish, Washington, Maryann Huhs spent 7 years as director of occupational health with Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound. She previously served the company as a primary care administrator for 6 years. Her responsibilities with the Seattle-based health services provider involved the development and launch of a complete occupational health product line, with specific activities ranging from market development to management of clinical functions. In this role, she doubled revenue within just a year of the program’s launch. Prior to her retirement in 2010, Maryann Huhs spent several years as the owner of M. Huhs International Fine Arts, a boutique art gallery in Bellevue, where she implemented a unique marketing and sales model that resulted in first year sales and revenues that doubled initial financial projections.

Ms. Huhs studied political science at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with a bachelor of arts. She continued her education at the University of Southern California, earning a master of arts in public administration in 1976. Now retired, she enjoys staying physically active by walking between five and six miles every day. In 2020, she walked more than 300 miles in 30 days while canvassing for the presidential election.
