Project Handled: Billing Engine with Sales Tax      Duration: Jan 2021 - Mar 2021 

Worked on Telecom billing software application, that supports the full range of telecom customer care, billing, and ordering activities in single and convergent multi-service environments. I worked on a payment module called Payment Manager which provides the facility to bill our customers online.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Participated in daily Scrum meetings, Requirements Analysis, Design reviews, and Release meetings.
• Worked parallel with Developers and helped them by providing the unit cases while the project is under development.
• Regularly followed up with the development team to discuss the defects identified during Testing.
• Executing Regression test cases for checking existing functionality works fine in accordance with the new functionality/new code.
• Conducting functional, load, and regression testing for successful implementation of QA process 
• Prepared test cases to test the back-end Database by retrieving the data for the tables using SQL.
• Responsible for validating the Monthly and Daily Billing Engine data.
• Involved in verifying the sales taxes which are applied on the customer invoices.
• Involved in calculating the Usage Charges based on the Interstate or Intrastate Calls which is totally depends on the back-end testing.

Project Handled: Partner Portal and Quote Now  Duration: Sep 2020- Till Date

Partner Portal and Quote Now are applications that provide the sales partners with creating quotations and managing partners, accounts, discounts, and commissions.  Ruby on Rails is used to develop these applications. Along with this, we have also provided the estimated fees for customers using the API’s calls.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Involved in project planning, test planning, scheduling, testing, defect tracking, management, and reporting
• Gathered and analyzed functional and business requirements to write test cases for testing the web and mobile apps
• Created and executed software test plans and cases to uncover, identify, and document issues and their causes
• Tested the mobile apps for different network scenarios, like slow network, no network, and % of data loss and for different device-load conditions
• Tested the apps in both local and staging environments.
• Tested Web Services, Validated Request and Response XML, Restful calls using POSTMAN tool.
• Validated the front end data against the back end by using SQL statements
• Regularly followed up with the development team to discuss discrepancies identified during testing.
• Prepared daily/ weekly status reports on Test case execution, defects, RTM, etc.
• Escalated issues with team leaders, technical architects, and Project Managers based on the need.
• Executed shell script to start/stop the servers. FTP the log files to developers to debug the defects. Verified the daily builds in the Linux server.
• Participated in daily and weekly meetings to discuss the various development levels of the project.
• Attended Demos and met with Client for User Acceptance and providing QA Signoff on the testing.

Project Handled: Multi-Location Billing (MLB)    Duration: Mar 2021– Oct 2021

Worked on the project called “Multi-Location Billing (MLB), which is a SAAS application.It provides an advance billing process based on the location wise of our customers where we bill the customers based on location wise.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participated in daily scrum meetings, Requirements Analysis, Design reviews, and Release meetings.
• Responsible for developing test plans and test scripts based on the user requirements and Use cases.
• Documented test cases and expected results.
• Performed web application security vulnerability testing using the tool Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner
• Responsible to verify Web services API requests, response data validations in REST protocols.
• Provided production support for the releases.
• Provided clear concise feedback to the development team on recurring errors both on an individual and team basis.
• Performed Back end testing by writing SQL statements like Join, Inner Joins, Outer joins and Self Joins
• Having Good Hands-on Experience in understanding the configuration changes which are required for Billing Engine.
• Verified the triggered protocols from the admin portal to other telecom based servers
• Performed all basic telephony features related to HUNT and ACD Groups.
• Identified and documented defects/system issues using the Bugzilla, and assisted of root cause analysis for timely resolution of defects.
