Nady Rizkallah
Proven Aptitude with Medical Electronics Equipment
Nady Rizkallah serves as a specialist at the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center (CSSC) at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Working in this position since 2013, he focuses on operating, maintaining, and integrating all of the center’s simulation equipment. Nady Rizkallah specifically oversees a collection of equipment that includes manikin software, physiologic monitors, and life-support systems. His responsibilities further extend to handling a variety of administrative duties.
In his role at CSSC, Nady Rizkallah draws on decades of experience in health care settings. He previously served for 28 years as a medical electronics equipment specialist at King/Drew Medical Center. There, he studied and installed medical equipment as well as developed techniques for integrating the equipment with computers. Mr. Rizkallah accepted this position after carrying out responsibilities as a medical electronics technician and senior medical electronics technician at King/Drew for 10 years.
Nady Rizkallah holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Cairo University and a master’s degree in computer science from California State University, Fullerton. Also experienced as an educator, he has taught at Cerritos Community College and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science.
