Hi,
This is Peggy Chen. After spending years in Southeast Asia and North America, I started working as a freelance translator/marketing analyst when I moved back to my home country. Being a solo worker, I was very lucky to be able to deal with clients from different area. Since then, I was able to improved my translating skills while doing marketing research and case studies for my clients from different industries.
After a few years being freelance, I moved to Dongguan, China to work as an international business salesman for a Taiwanese company. The work I was responsible for were expanded product lane, from order, processing up till shipping. Meanwhile, the company just purchased a new factory for expanding product lane. Therefore, I happened to handle the opening and auditing of the second factory, as well as planning and managing new product lane of that factory.
Starting 2014, I have been working as a special assistant of Chairman in a company with a hundred plus workers. Other than doing translation work and arranging meetings for the chairman, I had successfully planned for international exhibition three years in a row, started up new departments, developed business preparation for new projects... etc. I had been in touch with industries of varied fields, and expanded my vision in the past four years.
In the past year, I focused on building and strengthening my working abilities. I’ve registered a couple training courses across Taiwan, Singapore and China. And since most training courses was in China, I’ve traveled there back and forth from time to time. Other than that, I’ve also developed a series of communicating courses based on logical and structural thinking. The purpose is to help workers and people who are weak on work place communication to clarify and fasten their thinking, and effectively increase their time efficiency.
I usually play the role of “communicator” and “coordinator” when it comes to team work. I’m expert on listening and communicating with a neutral attitude, collecting information and integrate these ideas. A good listener can collect massive information; a Neutral could avoid making unfair dispute. I believe there’s no better way than gaining maximize interest with a calm analysis.
Although it might not be a necessary ability, but I can identify and speak each person’s name in our company when I worked as a special assistant. I do believe it is important to recognize each person and showing my respect to them. Not only making workers feel how the company treasure their values, it can also help me on giving more clarify reports to the boss on individual department within the company.
When facing difficulties, I will immediately integrate the priorities of matters. Solve the most urgent problem in accordance to current situation, then broken the remaining dilemmas one by one. The term “insolvable problem” does not appear in my dictionary. It all depends on the willingness of how you solve and the way you choose to solve the problem.
I hope that my practical experience in my career life, as well as my experience accumulated so far, can be used in various businesses. I also look forward to accepting new challenges, and will be more than happy to enjoy the result of my hard work. 自由接案數年過後,我有幸被延攬進入了一間位於中國東莞的台資工廠擔任駐廠業務,負責拓展商品線以及從接單、跟催到出貨等的相關業務運作。期間亦剛好遇到公司購入二廠,因此也接手處理了開廠、稽核、規劃並管理生產線等工作。期間大量並密集學習到的職業技能讓我感覺受用良多。
