I’m Shou-Liang Hsu from Taoyuan. I graduated from National Chiao Tung University in 2015. And I majored in Electrical Engineering. I am admitted to the Master Degree Program of ECE College this year(2023). My research interest is power management chip design.
I am currently working as a hardware design engineer at Inventec Corporation. In the process of hardware design and verification, practically apply the electronics and circuit concepts to the PCB hardware system of the server. And I read the specifications of related analog power integrated circuits. However, from system circuits to integrated circuits, the circuit interaction, non-ideal characteristics, and noise effects that need to be considered are more complicated. I want to join the career and research in the analog power field.
I will enter the Master Degree Program to engage in the research of analog power integrated circuits this year(2023). I pursue the combination of practical application at work and research topics, and make more significant contributions to the working team.
Worked in Cloud Server Division of Quanta Computer Inc., responsible for the component engineering and management of electronic parts. Including part material number application process, engineering change, troubleshooting of incoming materials, parts approval and material declaration, supplier application and maintenance process.
Worked as an FAE engineer in the automation business group of Shihlin Electric and Engineering Corporation. I in charge of pre-sales and after-sales of FA industrial control products (PLC/human-machine interface/AC inverter/AC servo system/motor) Technical support, education and training services, customer on-site test runs, customer complaints and troubleshooting of abnormal problems, as well as the 0800-524-045 special line responsible for answering technical services for industrial control products.
The FAE of industrial control products belongs to the technical support unit of the business system. It also has the responsibility of dealing with all technical problems in real time for customers on the business side, and the responsibility of feeding back the application requirements of the market to PM and related R&D units on the technical side. On the sales side, assist business personnel to negotiate detailed technical specifications of products, and gain a deep understanding of customers' system planning needs in order to expand and win orders; on the technical side, it is the technical window corresponding to customers, meeting customers' needs for product technology learning and timely problem handling, and working with business personnel Represent the company together, develop product markets, and maintain existing customers and company reputation.
My previous job taught me that the main customers of IC products are manufacturers of computers and consumer electronics products. As a research and development personnel, it is necessary to have both practical application and academic research capabilities. Capability improvement is open-minded. Therefore, it is expected to develop analog power IC R&D professional skill in the future, and then integrate customer service and market demand experience to contribute to the company's product marketing planning.
