EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Computer Science Bachelor @ National Chiao Tung University
Thinking logically is my forte, but it is the concern of people and the enthusiasm for creating that makes me different. Even though I was in the comparatively rational and logical department of study, I found out that I have much more interests in interacting with real human beings rather than dealing with machines. After my graduation, I decided to take a leap.
Institute of Applied Art @ National Chiao Tung University
There are always obstacles and boundaries between members from different disciplinary when it comes to working collaboratively. As a interdisciplinary student myself, I could use my knowledge from both design and engineering fields to narrow the perceptual gap. As the result, My MA thesis "Approaching Collaborative Design" proposed a method of running a participatory design workshop in order to agglomerate consensus and improve the communication in the multi-disciplinary team.
Collaborative and Industrial Design @ Aalto University
This is undoubtedly the most precious and life-changing period of time for me: the life in Finland as an exchange student in CoID of Aalto University. Collaborating with students from all over the world expands my horizon. The course "User Inspired Design" made me realize the power of empathy, taking me step by step towards human-centered design.

As the UX Designer, I retarget the marketing goal of our product using the techniques of user study and persona building, thus aiming our true competitors to a smaller range. Working fluently and collaboratively with the engineers from different department (FE, BE, AI, QA) Reviewed the feedback from users and develop into exact strategy of improvement.

Design a brand new app from scratch for the product My Guardian Home. Worked with the App engineers iteratively to build up the app in a short period of time. Also work closely with the firmware developers to improve the user experience of the product.
