Job Description
- Responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics models to assess credit risk and make data-driven decisions.
- Develop and maintain predictive models for credit risk assessment using machine learning and statistical techniques.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to credit risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk models into business processes.
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements related to credit risk.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data science, with a focus on credit risk modeling.
- Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly in credit risk and lending practices.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
- Expertise in using programming languages like Python and SQL.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and data mining techniques.
- Familiarity with big data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities.
