Job Summary:

The Financial Operations Associate will report to the VP of Finance. The role will be responsible for building out the processes, internal tools and controls as well as the team to manage BlueX Trade’s fintech client offerings. The two primary products are BlueX Pay, a digital payments solution for the logistics industry, as well as BlueX Capital, a pay-it-later financing solution for logistics payments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and continuously improve day-to-day Finance Operations to add both speed and controllership to our process and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Customer Success team to address elevated customer inquiries.
• Investigate customer payment statuses to identify issues and determine next steps.
• Resolve payments and funds transfers to reconcile customer accounts.
• Assist with monitoring of our BlueX Pay and BlueX Capital network of customers and vendors.
• Provide operational support to other functions including Account Management, Compliance, Accounting and Business Intelligence teams.
• Take ownership of internal and external inquiries and provide fast and professional resolution.

- Knowledge of using Excel/ Google Sheet
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, diverse work environment with great communication and follow-through on tasks.
- Independent/flexible problem-solver with ability to positively cope with change.
- Able to communicate in English in daily general conversations.
- Analytic experiences or finance background is a plus.
