Job Description

Key Responsibilities - General Administration:

  • Managing the Taiwan office purchasing and supplies process, as well as relationships with vendors, service providers and building management for all operational areas.
  • Manage and review as necessary all service contracts, co-ordinating payments for the local and wider GC, where needed, offices.
  • General office duties such as typing and clerical works, checking for quality of reports completed.
  • Collaboration with Working Capital billing and credit control, to support debt collection tracker update.
  • Compliance with Charles Taylor procedures and controls.
  • General adjuster support, including the following tasks -
  • Travel arrangements for Adjusting team, as required, in particularly overseas and outstation job.
  • Monitor time entry/posting by adjusters on weekly and monthly basis. On an exceptional basis, assist Adjusters with time recording in CMA system and using the new Expense@Work application.
  • Special Projects including supports for marketing/business development initiatives, as and when needed, be proactively involved in the development of new processes/systems.
  • Perform other support activities and provide general assistance to adjusters ensure efficient running of all their business lines responsible.

Key Responsibilities - Claims Administration:

  • Case creation and management, including the following tasks -
  • Open new cases, register same on our various core systems and support the ongoing management of these cases in the systems such as Charkes Taylor’s internal Case Management and Accounting (CMA) system, eCases System, etc.
  • Preparation of monthly bordereaux and regular claims and case status update.
  • Downloading claims information from clients’ claims system for adjusters’ screening of reported claims under nominated accounts
  • Updating claims information from clients’ assignment portal
  • Produce case related MI, as required.
  • Timely update on budget fee and percentage of completion in CMA system, especially for fixed scaled fee cases.
  • Ensure the correct case related expenses and disbursements are entered onto CMA system before any invoices are processed by Working Capital team; investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Close e-Cases and ensure they are appropriately managed prior to being destroyed.

  • Ad Hoc duties: Your key accountabilities will include such other duties and tasks as allocated, at the discretion of management, and that are within your capabilities and the scope of your role.

Requirements

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software programs and experience using a variety of different systems and tools in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Sound time management skills, as well as experience in planning and organizing events, meetings, and projects.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, willing to help others and share knowledge but also able to work independently and with a minimum level of supervision.
