Head of Marketing, Financial Services

Job Description

  • Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy and roadmap
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the successful execution of marketing plans.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as product managers, sales teams, and senior executives, to understand their needs and develop marketing programs that support their goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer segments, market trends, and competitive positioning to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, advertising materials, digital content, and other promotional materials.
  • Manage the firm's digital marketing efforts, including website development, search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels to reach target audiences and drive customer acquisition.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing within the financial services sector.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to optimize marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role within the financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices, particularly within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services, including banking, investments, insurance, or wealth management.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to utilize marketing data and metrics to drive insights and decision-making.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey marketing strategies and initiatives to senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
