Responsibilities

1. To build the next generation Hardware platforms
2. To design, execute, and test complex embedded features on a range of platforms from bare metal, RTOS and Linux, to mobile OS.
3. Design and develop modular software features in a collaborative environment and agile team.
4. Design and develop high performance firmware and software for cutting-edge embedded platforms.
5. Debug, optimize, and validate firmware on complex embedded multi-core architectures.
6. Develop automated and unit level functional testing to validate designs.

Requirements

1. 7+ years of experience in embedded software.
2. Experience leading a project from concept phase through product launch
3. Demonstrated proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems, including the development of algorithms, manipulation of complex data structures, and implementing highly optimized code
4. Consumer electronics experience
5. Familiar with multi-core ARM processors, GPUs, Wi-Fi/BT, cameras.
6. A strong understanding of operating systems concepts such as thread scheduling, context switching, and memory management
7. Ability to understand hardware design and schematics.
8. Experience in overseeing board bring-up and validation
