NVIDIA is looking for a passionate, world-class computer scientist to work as a Deep Learning R&D Engineer.
What you’ll be doing:
● Develop novel Deep Learning-based architectures and algorithms for solving problems in computer graphics, computer vision (2D and 3D), image processing, physical simulation, character animation, rendering, synthesis, and more
● Apply your broad familiarity with Deep Learning tools and processes, 3D Computer Graphics, and Animation
● Prototype experimental solutions with Python and modern DL frameworks
● Write highly optimized cross-platform C++/CUDA code
● Study and apply new state-of-the-art DL/Graphics/Animation techniques
● Work with a team of developers to invent, develop, productize and support technology
What we need to see:
● PhD from a leading university in an engineering or computer science related discipline, or MS and 3+ years of relevant work experience
● Deep understanding of modern ML/DL algorithms and architectures
● Good understanding of modern approaches in Computer Graphics and Animation
● Strong knowledge of Python and PyTorch
● Practical experience in solving real world problems with Deep Learning
● Excellent math skills
● Strong knowledge of C/C++, software design, programming techniques
● Experience in CUDA / parallel programming / physical simulation is a plus
● Experience in development of Cloud (web) applications is a plus
● Excellent team player with very strong work ethic and a collaborative/cooperative attitude
● An understanding of and appreciation for milestones, schedules, deadlines and efficient game development processes
● Self-motivated, but able to receive constructive feedback and integrate into work
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
