Responsible for providing creative user-centric designs through the use of discovery research, data visualization, sketching, 3D rendering, 3D CAD, and prototyping.

1. Research. Understand it. Live it. Know how consumers feel and feel as they do.
2. Design products with the aid of sketches, 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD), 3D rendering, conceptual models, and rapid prototypes
3. Identify trends and opportunities in the marketplace & integrate consumer feedback into innovations
4. Establish design language that resonates with brand identity
5. Manage projects from conception to reality by working with internal teams and external manufacturers and suppliers

• 2+ years of experience in consumer product design

• BA/BS in Industrial/Product Design or equivalent practical experience
• Proficient in CAD (Solidworks strongly preferred), visualization tools (Adobe Creative Suite), 3D rendering, and rapid prototyping
• Portfolio of your work (Please attach your portfolio when applying)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing kitchenware

• Strong understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing and engineering requirements and constraints
• Experience designing glass, metal, and plastic products
• Experience working with outside vendors, especially in Asia
