The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

- Accounting & internal controls

1. Maintain effective internal controls to ensure compliance with Swedish/local GAAP and other applicable laws and regulatory requirements, for both Group and local statutory reporting.

2. Timely preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the Group, including monthly and quarterly reporting.

3. Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and provide guidance to local accountants to ensure balance sheet reconciliations are performed to a high standard in accordance with corporate policies.

- Financial Planning & analysis

1. Produce timely and accurate reporting and analysis; provide insightful financial analysis to the business on budgets, costs and performance to support continuous improvement.

2. Undertake relevant forecasting activities and assist in providing analysis for commercial and investment decision-making.

- Strategic planning and business partnering

1. The individual will contribute to strategic decisions as well as ensuring alignment and providing strong business partnering to support delivery of business objectives. Liaise with key management staff across the business.

2. Tax compliance

3. Partner with local accountant or service providers to ensure compliance with corporate and indirect taxes.

- Finance operation

1. Transform finance operations by leveraging best practices, to simplify and standardize finance operation process to drive efficiency.

2. Develop and implement opportunities that support cost and efficiency improvements and ensure its effectiveness.

1. Fluent in English is a must.

2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting & Finance.

3. CA or CPA equivalent certification.

4. 10 years of public/private experience, Big 4 (6 +years) and multi-national public company experience preferred.

5. A global mindset and experience gained in an international corporate environment.

6. Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

7. Excellent excel skill with exposure to simple forecast/ROI modelling.

8. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
