Performance Marketing Data Analyst

As a Performance Marketing Data Analyst, you will focus on extracting, analyzing, and utilizing data from platforms like Trivago and TripAdvisor to optimize our bidding strategies in digital marketing campaigns. Your role will be crucial in turning data insights into actionable strategies that drive efficient spending and maximize campaign ROI.

Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Insights: Extract and analyze data from meta search platforms, utilizing analytics to assess and refine bidding strategies based on performance metrics.
• Campaign Optimization: Use data-driven insights to optimize bid amounts, targeting, and timing to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of campaigns.
• Performance Reporting: Create detailed reports on campaign performance, trends, and insights to guide marketing decisions and budget allocation.
• Budget Management: Assist in managing budgets by forecasting and tracking returns on advertising spend, focusing on cost-efficiency and optimizing resource allocation.
• Strategic Planning: Work closely with the marketing team to integrate data insights into broader marketing strategies.
• Tool Proficiency: Leverage advanced analytics tools and software to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.

• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field with a focus on analytics. Experience in data analysis within a marketing context is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and experience with digital marketing platforms 
• Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative skills with an ability to analyze complex datasets, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex data and insights in a comprehensible manner to stakeholders and team members.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling and analysis.

The interview process will be conducted remotely and is structured as follows:

1. Initial Screening: Candidates will first submit their resumes and cover letters. Selected candidates will be contacted for a brief initial screening call to discuss their background and the role.
2. First Interview: Successful candidates will proceed to the first formal interview via video conferencing, where they will meet with the hiring manager. This session will delve into their professional experiences, language skills, and understanding of the role.
