About the Team

The BD team works on some of the biggest and most impactful charters at Uber including Consumer, Membership, Payments, Travel, Supply and Sustainability partnerships. We are at the core of the business strategy, giving you the chance to work with global and cross functional stakeholders. We #SeetheForestandtheTrees by understanding the big picture of partner selection, the strategic importance of a deal and the impact it will drive for Uber and the partner.

Your Impact

• Evaluate and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
• Develop meaningful relationships with key partners that fit into our go-to-market strategy
• Envision new ways that partnerships can positively impact core business objectives applying creativity and business acumen
• Support the partnership from relationship building and due diligence, contract negotiations, all the way through post-contract sign integration and expansion

The Experience You’ll Bring:

• Experience sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and executing sophisticated strategic partnerships and/or other transactions across different industry verticals.
• Candid, meticulous, adaptable, and dedicated team-player who gets energy from building businesses
• You're a self-starter and take initiative to seize opportunities: The team is evolving every day and requires highly motivated independent individual who will be responsible for all aspects of business in their market
• Proven track record to prioritize selling activities and follow through in a timely fashion
• Ability to forge relationships at the senior executive level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence decision making without having formal authority.
