Job Description:
As a member of the Cloud Application Development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud applications and systems that support the daily operations of our certification lab. Your primary focus will be on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Python or Java programming languages, with an emphasis on database access and web communication functions.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand the needs of the certification lab.
- Design technical solutions and create documentation for cloud application development on GCP.
- Develop and implement web front-end interfaces using Angular/Django for the certification control system.
- Create and enhance flow control features in the carrier certification system, specifically for task assignment and management.
- Ensure the control system architecture is designed for high availability and scalability on the Google Cloud Platform.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify software component areas for the certification data management system.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the developed software components.
- Collaborate with on-site teams at the hardware certification lab in Taiwan for software niche testing, as per the existing agreement.
- Work with remote teams, potentially based in non-Taiwan locations, for cloud software development services.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cloud application development using Python or Java programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.
- Proficiency in developing web front-end interfaces using Angular.
- Experience with database access and management.
- Familiarity with web communication protocols and APIs.
- Ability to design and implement scalable and highly available systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
