Hola ! I’m Roxy, a web front-end developer. I graduated with a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tung-nan University. I like exploring computer science related skills and technologies despite the fact that I didn’t major in a related degree. My programming career has reached its 6th year in length. React has been my primary framework for frontend. On the backend side of things, I’m mostly using Express.js with MongoDB. I’m accustomed to use the container style for development, so that I can keep my environments clean. I’m also used to thinking from a functional programming point of view, whether it’s for infrastructures or just general coding. I would also prefer to modularize functionalities if the situation permits. When I’m tying to figure out how to implement certain logic for application features, I like to start out from the business logic side of things. I try to be persistent, but not stubborn. When problem arises, my first action would be to try and solve it. Usually start from the business side of view, and also estimate how feasible the solution actually is. If I don’t have a solution I’ll try to talk to my peers and come up with something else, instead of running away from the problem. I like to learn new tech skills and dive into their ins and outs. So that I know when and how these skills can contribute to a potential solution.
