I enable higher revenue by leveraging Salesforce technology to allow increased visibility into each opportunity lifecycle. I've decreased the organizational barriers between the sales pitch and quote delivery in order to accelerate the sales pipeline and close more deals.

I evolved our sales department from a spreadsheet-based system to a more holistic sales ecosystem. Following implementation of the Salesforce CRM our management now has a real-time view of sales activities and order probabilities. Additionally, from an operations standpoint we are now able to manage the quote process more actively, by tracking quote requests and following up with our parent company in order to reduce the time it takes to close a sale.

LiSEC America is the US branch of LiSEC, a global supplier of equipment to the window industry. As the senior of two Sales Navigators I am a linchpin in LiSEC Amercia's operations, managing communications between our US-based sales department and our overseas headquarters, as well as the US accounting and service departments. I ensure the continuous flow of our opportunity pipeline and follow up after the sale with ongoing communication to customers and internal stakeholders. The nature of the role has given me a great breadth of experience in all aspects of sales operations. 

Duties include:
- Salesforce configuration and administration (including custom objects, workflows, rules)
- Weekly meetings with sales reps and resulting reports to management on their activities, needs, and opportunity progress 
- Submitting quote and purchase agreement requests via two CRM systems (after ensuring their accuracy/completeness); follow-up to ensure timely delivery of sales documents to our customers

I started a non-profit independent bookstore as part of a small team of dedicated individuals. At a time when the economy has been challenging for independent bookstores, our business has thrived, with each year's sales outpacing the previous year's. It was named one of the Twin Cities’ best independent businesses, and included in a list of “the coolest independent bookstores in the world.”During my time at the bookstore, I designed our initial inventory system and was part of a team to implement a new POS system.
