VP for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management @ Millersville University
With an extensive educational leadership background, Brian Hazlett works with Millersville University, where he serves as the vice president for student affairs and enrollment management. Since accepting the role in 2015, Brian Hazlett has overseen the development of enrollment goals to ensure the university’s fiscal and academic health.
The position also sees him work with groups representing underrepresented students, a process that led to the creation of the institution’s Intercultural Center. He has also helped increase the university’s African-American retention rate by six percent, and its Hispanic retention rate by 14 percent.
When Brian Hazlett first joined Millersville University, he served as its director of undergraduate admissions. He subsequently served as the interim associate provost of enrollment management before being appointed to vice president for enrollment management, a position he held for two years.
Outside of his educational leadership, Mr. Hazlett is pursuing a doctor of education in higher education at Northeastern University. A sports fan, he enjoys lacrosse and golf.
