Evelyn Creekmore is an Atlanta, Georgia-based independent content strategist and copywriter with over 15 years of experience in health content marketing and communications. Although she focuses on health, technology, and the environment, she has also written extensively on animal welfare and agriculture. Through her company, Creekmore Bespoke, she has served as a content strategy consultant for a variety of organizations and national brands, including Phillips Healthcare, Bayer US, and the CDC’s Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR). Earlier in her career, she developed the brand story and voice of FootSmart as the premier provider of foot and lower body health solutions for the Baby Boomer customer segment. As FootSmart’s first copy director, she led promotional content strategy and executed campaigns through social media, catalog, direct mail, and other integrated marketing channels for seven footwear and foot care verticals. Ms. Creekmore also previously served as the director of brand content and design for WebMD for 10 years. During this time, she built its first sponsored content department and combined content and design department. She began as the sole contributor for the former department and grew it to comprise a team of 15 full-time designers and writers creating hundreds of content marketing campaigns each year. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, board games, puzzles, and reading. She belongs to the Atlanta Humane Society’s Guardian Circle and supports other organizations making a positive difference in her community.
