HAMPTON LUZAK - PHILANTHROPIST AND CREATIVE PROFESSIONAL
A creative professional and philanthropist, Hampton Luzak draws on a diverse background in the advertising, fashion, and broadcast media industries. She received her bachelor of arts from Hollins University, where she majored in American studies. After serving as on-air talent at MSNBC, Hampton Luzak became a casting director for independent filmmakers and worked on projects such as Chaperone, which won awards at a number of film festivals and was nominated for a Student Academy Award.

Ms. Luzak later turned her attention to the renovation of historic homes. She has led restoration and decoration projects for properties in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and South Carolina. A member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants and the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America, Ms. Luzak felt a personal connection to each of these historic American homes.

Involved in outreach projects, Ms. Luzak actively supports nonprofit organizations such as the Edible Schoolyard Project, the Joyful Heart Foundation, and the Wilderness Society, and she donates to a number of programs that serve vulnerable children in the eastern United States. An advocate for animals as well, Ms. Luzak has personally rescued a number of dogs by transporting them to shelters with more space and resources on behalf of the ASPCA.
