Michael Shvarzblat is a Boston native, cognitive psychologist, born in 1954. He is also a researcher and a professor of psychology at the Pace University. This psychologist has authored number research publications of scientific divulgation.
For several years, Michael Shvarzblat has taught for several years at the Department of Cognitive Neuroscience at MIT and at the Harvard University.
Shvarzblat makes his researches in the fields of perception, learning, cognition, emotion, motivation, and memory. Also, he has authored also one book, ‘The Angels and Demons Within’. In his book, he advocates evolutionary explanations for the functions of the brain and behavior.
Shvarzblat has a bachelor’s degree in Experimental Psychology from the Boston University and a PhD in the same discipline from the Harvard University.
