The SDN based Cloud and Inline data plane platform with TCP optimization is deployed nationwide for all future sophisticated commercial offerings from Verizon. Designed and developed along with a team of 6 architects a billing platform prototype which culminated with an investment of $20MN. Led managers and their teams of software development, QA and operation across US and India to take the billing prototype to a fully integrated SDN platform for deployment in live network. Indirectly managed a team of cross functional program managers to align development, marketing, legal and operations team efforts with timelines. Responsible for go to market decisions. The platform led to open up the network APIs for programmability of billing, policing services by a subscriber in real time. Product is deployed nationwide to serve 100MN subscribers advanced billing needs.

Affirmed Networks is Market leader virtualizing mobile core networks. Hired day one as part of core engineering team to bootstrap the stealth startup. Coded various layers of stacks to build EPC core as virtualized functions. Worked through various early access product problems both at the frameworks and the system level. Architected, design and development of configuration model framework, implemented provisioning, dynamic modification of services at control and data plane. Established and managed a team of 5 engineers to develop EPC control plane stacks from ground up. As part of the team designed and developed highly efficient resource allocation and storage strategy for signaling keys. Implemented Offline Charging interface across multiple gateways.

Moved across countries to build carrier grade product of my own, I conceived, designed and coded parts of signaling gateway product deployed in 50 countries across 5 of the 6 world’s largest carriers.
