His notable accomplishments include the dismissal of all claims against BT Group in a class action securities fraud lawsuit and a summary judgment in a JPMorgan Chase suit to recover $500 million on defaulted derivatives contracts.
A graduate of Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and History, Mr. Weinstein is a member of the Duke Alumni Association and the Iron Dukes athletics booster association. Additionally, he sits on the board of directors of the Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University.
A former member of the board of directors of the National Center for Law and Economic Justice, Mr. Weinstein is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the American Bar Association, and has an active pro bono practice at Davis Polk.
