Connor Heidkamp
Operations Manager with Slipstream Expedited Service
A longtime resident of the greater Chicago area, Connor Heidkamp attended Palatine High School in Palatine, Illinois. Shortly after graduating in 2004, he entered the trucking and logistics sector as a dispatcher with Slipstream Expedited Services in the nearby village of Elk Grove. Connor Heidkamp subsequently accepted a series of positions with the company including hazardous materials coordinator and operations manager. He currently serves Slipstream as the Vice President of Operations.
With Connor Heidkamp’s help, Slipstream has received several honors from the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce including two annual “Best in Business” awards and a permanent place in the Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame. His personal achievements with Slipstream have ranged from handling truck & trailer sourcing to completing RFPs for the largest logistics companies in the world.
When he isn’t working, Mr. Heidkamp is an avid music fan who has traveled throughout the United States to see performers of many different genres. He also enjoys outdoor activities that range from camping to golfing.
