Presently working for Emerson Process Management Pvt Ltd Chennai from 07-June-2014, to till date, as Engineer Project Management.
Accountability :
Identify Interco order potential through regular interaction with other external Sales and Project Management teams. Participated in global PM calls to gather order funnel and its timeline requirements.
Project costing, discussions with Operations team on capability development regarding valve models and testing requirements.
Participate in slim spec and GP improvement discussions. Get updates from ME on capacity and
capability of the plant and share with global partners in the appropriate forums.
Review incoming commercial and technical orders, ensure that they are received in line with what
was quoted. Report abnormalities and seek appropriate corrections from respective stake holder.
Plan and execute project kick-off meetings and provide clarity to the project team on customer requirements.
Ensure the right specifications and document approval are in place for the entire operations team to execute the orders.
Track specification changes and communicate to the internal stake holders and follow up for implementation.
Provide periodic project summary and status reports to the concerned stake holders and Management.
Act as an interface between the customer, intercompany representative and the project execution team by keeping everyone involved updated and offering the necessary clarification on contractual obligations.
Monitor and review the progress at appropriate intervals based on the priority and delivery schedule.
Record the discussion and circulate it to the participants and other stakeholders.
Ensure the effective implementation of post order Corrective & Preventive actions against customer complaints.
Ensure compliance with all applicable export requirements and keeping abreast of Emerson policies on International trade compliance requirements.
Facilitate timely processing of change orders.
Providing support on quoting special constructions/options and ensuring conformance to EPMCPL
standards wherever possible.
Prepare and submit the monthly order booked and sales projections to management.
Relationships : Close liaison with external Sales offices, Project management teams and internal functions.
Consult with engineering or product groups and a QP&S team for special construction.

Safety Induction - Arranging SAFETY induction and entry passes for all workers at site in co-ordination with a safety officer.
Tool box talk with all the workers at site, every morning, before the start of job.
Checking of all tools and tackles required at site for installation, including electrical connections
Access and roof approach - checking and approving all the access/ladders/scaffolding available at site which are required for installation.
Working at Height - Review of Height pass and clearance for doing the job. All lifeline, PPE's, safety belt, fall arrestors available at site are cross verified in line with safety requirements.
Providing a work permit before starting a job.
Maintaining safety documents for workmen working at the site.
Quality & Progress of Job:
Plan and maintain progress as per the plan.
Ensure execution of the job as per drawing/TBSL standard/WMS and JSA.
Check material availability at site and raise concerns about the non - available material in advance.
