I have approximately 12 years of work experience in the electronics and design industries, including roles as a Senior Visual Designer at a Japanese design company and as Creative Director at Mizo Games for about 4 years.
As a Senior Visual Designer in the technology industry, I gained experience in packaging design, OEM software UI and UX design, and web design, and learned how to work with programmers and front- and back-end web engineers. I also discovered my strong skills in cross-departmental communication and project management and took on the role of software development PM to assist with communication between engineers and sales.
Later, I wanted to gain more understanding of how to promote and launch products after development, so I changed careers to join a startup board game marketing company as Creative Director. In this role, I established SOPs for product development, introduced file management regulations, and consolidated system data and permissions to make it easier for team members to access information. I also introduced project management, categorizing projects and establishing naming conventions, and consolidating all related project data in one cloud-based system to avoid disorganized naming and make it easier to access remotely. I set up different access levels for confidential company information based on department (e.g. management, production), and established a customer service SOP to improve response times and customer satisfaction.
While consistently producing products, I am also actively promoting our products through crowdfunding. I communicate the strong points and high quality of our products to consumers, increasing their confidence and leading to a high rate of repeat customers. I have also accumulated a large number of loyal fans who eagerly support any new tabletop games or peripherals that we release. In over a dozen crowdfunding projects, I have been responsible for marketing planning, advertising copywriting, graphic design, cross-industry cooperation, and product production. I have worked with my team to brainstorm and come up with marketing strategies that break through the same old ways of thinking and hit the mark with social media.
